I will be studying abroad in the Czech Republic this summer. I’ll be in Prague from 2 months, and then I was planning on backpacking for a few weeks.
My problem is that I will have luggage with me for my 2 month stay in Prague, but I don’t want to lug that around with me on my backpacking trip. I was looking into shipping my luggage home from Prague to Seattle (hometown), but every company or website I looked into priced that at around $300 – $400. Which is way to expensive for a student.
Anyone have any advice on what I should do with my luggage? Should I ship it from Prague to Seattle? Or would it be better to just try and lug it around Europe with me? I’m just afraid it could get lost or stolen.

you will probably make some friends in Prague…you could keep your luggage in their flat and than after backpacking come back to the Czech Republic and fly to Seattle with it…
