MiM Godfather asked:
I am moving to St Paul, MN on the 16th, and I own a handgun that needs to be transported. The movers that my company goes through does not ship firearms, so I have opted to transport it myself via checked luggage at the airport.
Does anyone know where I can find a list of airlines that do NOT allow checked handguns? I’ve already read the rules (in a locked box, separate from ammo, etc), but am having trouble locating a list of airlines that will/will not allow you to have one.
Thanks to anyone who can help.

Most US flagged airlines allow handguns in checked luggage for domestic travel. You will need to call the airline you have in mind and just ask them, and get their check in procedures.
Usually, you have to have the gun unloaded, and in a hard case that can be locked securely with a TSA lock (you can buy these padlocks at travel shops and possibly gun shops. You must declare the gun to the counter agent when you check in. They have procedures they have to follow with TSA. It’s all pretty painless really.
Some do, but not many
All of them should allow. You would have to declare them once arriving and maybe going to the website of all the options you have in line of who you wish to fly with…
